Academic Scholarship I would like my son to be considered for an academic scholarship Please note, there is no requirement to apply for an academic scholarship at 13+ as all boys who perform well on the Bedford School Aptitude Test (BSAT) are automatically invited back for academic scholarship testing and an interview.2. Art Scholarship I would like my son to be considered for an art scholarship As part of the application process, we require you to submit a digital portfolio of your son’s work. This should be emailed to admissions@bedfordschool.org.uk before 1st December deadline.2. Computer Science Scholarship I would like my son to be considered for a computer science scholarship As part of the application process, we require you to submit a portfolio of three to five pieces of code written by your son. This should be emailed to admissions@bedfordschool.org.uk before 1st December deadline.3. Drama Scholarship I would like my son to be considered for a drama scholarship 4. Music Scholarship I would like my son to be considered for a music scholarship Please provide details of the two main musical instruments that your son plays and, if applicable, choral/singing. Please provide details of last graded examination for each (grade, mark, date).5. Sports Scholarship I would like my son to be considered for a sports scholarship Please indicate your son’s ability in the four major sports: cricket, hockey, rowing and rugby, detailing the teams that he plays for and how long he has been playing each sport. Please note: only cricket, hockey, rowing and rugby are considered, and boys should be a minimum of county level.As part of the application process, we also require references and testimonials from the people who train/coach your son in the major sports listed above, as applicable. Golf Scholarship I would like my son to be considered for a golf scholarship As part of the application process, we require a copy of your son’s golf handicap certificate and a reference/testimonial from the professionals/coaches that your son works with. Financial InformationReminder: Any amount required beyond the amount awarded through our generous scholarships will be awarded on a means-tested basis through the bursary scheme. Financial scales are available for parents to find out more detailed information regarding the level of support that may be available; please refer to The Harpur Trust website for further information (www.harpurtrust.org.uk).
