35 minutes

is the time it takes for pupils to travel from London St Pancras to Bedford School. Our school’s 50 acre estate is located in the heart of Bedford, with London’s 4 main airports in easy reach.

Outstanding results

We achieved the best leavers’ results in Bedfordshire, 78% for Russell Group University entrance and 10 for Oxbridge offers, with 84% IB and A2 exams graded at A*-B for 2017 leavers. Bedford is also proud to report to have been drafted as a Times Top 100 Independent School.

2 gold awards

We were delighted to receive two national awards. They are a fantastic validation of the high standard of careers and UCAS provision delivered to boys across the school. We recognise that high quality careers and UCAS guidance is vital to prepare boys for their futures; to help them to make the most of the opportunities open to them and, ultimately, find success and happiness after school.
