Picturing War – An Exhilarating Talk With Rick Findler

The OB Club office is teaming up with the school as part of the sixth form lecture series to hear a talk from Rick Findler - an award-winning photojournalist who has documented some of the most dangerous stories of the last ten years - with his images being published in The Sunday Times, The Guardian, and The Telegraph on a regular basis.

Rick will talk about his photojournalism: this includes dodging sniper fire in Syria, being bombed in Libya and most recently documenting the Beirut blast in August this year.  The "awe-inspiring" talk focusses on the morals and ethics of documenting war, the importance of accurate and honest news as well as stress and fear management.
