OB Online Careers Convention 2024

We are pleased to invite you to the OB Club's Annual Careers Convention, which will take place on the evenings of 5th, 6th and 7th March between 7.00pm - 9.00pm.   

This year we again have speakers from a wide variety of careers, including Media, Science and Environment, Computer Science, Law and many more.  You can view the full list of careers that will be represented, with a brief explanation of each career here.

The Convention will take place via Zoom, and you will have the opportunity to join two sessions per evening (6 in total over the three days). Each session will last for 55 minutes and will consist of up to six speakers, along with a Chair.  During the session, the Chair will ask each speaker to give a brief overview of their career, the path they took to get there and what they enjoy most about their job. You will then have an opportunity to ask questions via the Chair.

 

There is also the opportunity to join a 15 minute session about first impressions and  'How to make an impact in 1 minute'. 

Normally open to pupils in their final years at school - we have recently opened it up to all OBs who are looking for careers advice.

To attend the Convention, you will need to book your places via this booking form in advance.
