158th Bedford Regatta

This year marks the 158th Anniversary of the Bedford Regatta, one of the oldest and largest single-day river regattas in the country. We hope that many parents, past parents and Old Bedfordians will gather with picnics along the riverbank to support the school and OB Club's Phoenix Boat Club crews at this historic town event.

The Regatta Enclosure, located on the south side of the suspension bridge, will be the rallying point for the school.  Here the Friends of Bedford School Boat Club (FOBSBC) will be running the barbeque, and providing support in many different ways.  If you would like to help out, please email them at friendsofbsbc@bedfordschool.org.uk.  Funds raised by the FOBSBC will go towards the cost of staging the event and also support Bedford School Boat Club. Access to the Enclosure is open to all on purchasing a Regatta Programme. 

The school would like to thank in advance the large number of parents and OBs who have volunteered to help with the organisation on the day. We look forward to seeing you there.
