Fifty-five 2017-22 school leavers joined the President of the Club, Professor Martin Snaith (53-63) for a pre-Christmas get-together at Bedford Rowing Club. Amongst others, it was good to see members of both the Phoenix Rugby 7’s and Phoenix Boat Club attending and reflecting on their successful sporting year. Friendships forged at school were rekindled and stories about university experiences and the first footsteps into the world of work were exchanged.
We are already planning next year’s event which will take place at 7.30pm on Friday 22nd December 2023 (venue tbc), so please save the date…first drink’s on us!
