Our Y5 boys hosted a traditional tea party for some 100 VIPs (their Very Important Parents) on Tuesday 17 October, as part of their topic studies on the British Isles, in which they most recently investigated the origins of tea.

Ahead of the tea party, the boys prepared a tasty array of sandwiches, cakes and scones, which they served to parents along with tea and coffee as they played the perfect hosts. The boys also created themed table decorations and quizzes to make this British celebration even more special.

In Y5, boys enjoy topic lessons combining history, geography and religious studies to help smooth the transition from their early years in Y3 and Y4.
