In a wonderfully action-packed day, our ever-curious Y3 boys explored the wonderful world of Ancient Egypt through quizzing, playing, hunting and re-enacting.

Suitably attired for the day as either ancient Egyptians, mummies, intrepid explorers or archaeologists, the boys investigated artefacts, tackled tricky quiz questions, played the ancient game of Jackals and Hounds and even learned a brief history of Ancient Egypt – and all before lunch!

Lunch was suitably themed too, with some yummy mummy biscuits to enjoy before the boys took part in a brilliant re-enactment, helping to mummify the Pharoah Sebby ready for the afterlife. The day wrapped up with a celebratory hunting trip by the River Nile.

All in all, it was a fascinating and brilliant day that indulged the boys’ curious minds.
