Congratulations to our U13 Badminton teams on some brilliant performances at the District Finals held at the Bunyan Centre on Monday 23rd
January.
The Prep School’s A, B
and C Teams all competed in the six team round robin
competition, each playing a total of five matches against the A teams from Lincroft,
Goldington and Castle Newham School. On offer was qualification for the County Finals in February for the top two
teams. The C team of
Charlie Carey, Zaid Faleel, William Maltby and Wilbur Collier finished a
respectable sixth and should be congratulated
for making it to the district finals. The B team, which included Alex
Lamb, Freddie Sowerby, Hayden Melly and Dell Kang, finished fourth having
beaten the C Team and Castle Newnham. The
A team of Josh Stewart, Max Pearson, Vedant
Somal and Krish Nair finished first having won
all their games and now go on to compete in
the County Championship. Well done everyone!
