Comedy, singing, dancing, rap and rock music all came together on Tuesday 8 November, for a punctuation lesson like no other as we welcomed the ‘Punctuation Man’, otherwise known as Barrie McDermid, to the school.

During the two highly interactive (there was air guitar and serious silent saxophone!) and laugh-out-loud shows, the boys of all ages learned about everything from adjectives to clauses to semi-colons and more through catchy songs (that the boys were singing all day long) and quizzes, not to mention the grammar aquarium.

It was a brilliant show that had the boys buzzing, and we are pleased to say is already inspiring boys to be attentive in their use of punctuation in their writing.
