Sunny skies overhead and the luxury of long evenings herald the start of the summer term and the welcome return of some of our favourite school summer sports for our Prep boys, including tennis, rowing and, of course, cricket.
This week, our youngest boys have been busy learning the basics of catching and throwing, while older boys have been honing their skills in batting, bowling and fielding. But, regardless of age, it has been clear to see all are enjoying the return of cricket—although we know from passing by the crickets nets each day, some never stop!
For our U10, U11, U12 and U13 teams, the first exciting fixtures of the season are on the horizon as they take on Berkhamsted, Wellingborough and local rivals Bedford Modern next Wednesday.
It promises to be a wonderful summer of sport!
