Boys in Y5 to Y8 have been honing their study skills this week in their academic lessons. Using a simple three-step process: 1. find out, 2. revise it, 3. practice it.
We have been very impressed by the excellent revision materials that the boys have produced and how enthusiastically they have taken to these skills that will help them as they tackle their assessments next week, and as they move on up through the school.
As many parents will know, Mrs Christian held a brilliant ‘Supporting your son’ evening last term, which was packed with plenty of great advice. A copy of the presentation from the evening is attached below and is well worth a re-read/read.

We are also delighted to be able to say that author and world-renowned inventor of mind maps, Tony Buzan, will be visiting the school later this term to run sessions with boys from all year groups to help them to improve their mind-mapping and note-taking skills even further.
