Mrs Medley put on her walking shoes once again; this time to raise funds for Bedford and District Handicapped Riders (BDHRA).
Mrs Medley, who has now completed four London Marathons and a Shine Walking Marathon for Cancer Research, took part in the half marathon on Friday 28 October 2016. Just one of a series of seven half marathons, organised by former parent Nick Kier for seven local charities, it celebrated the St George’s Day Charity Fund’s twenty-fifth anniversary in 2017.
Bedford School has supported BDHRA for four years and raised £4,070 for them to date. Six CAS students also volunteer at BDHRA every Wednesday afternoon during term time as part of their service.
