It has been another brilliant week for sport in the Prep School with rugby fixtures against Spatton Hall, The Dragon, Stamford School, Warwick School, Rushmoor School and The Beacon School.

On Wednesday, our U10 A-D teams headed to Stamford for their festival. Special congratulations go to our U10A who won three out of their four games and our U10B who won all five of their games.

There has also been plenty of action in the pool with a fantastic swimming gala against Aldwickbury school. Well done to everyone who took part.

Jamie Maling (Y6) secured his place in the English School’s Ski Championship National Finals as a result of his great performance last week.  We wish him the best of luck for the championships on the 6 October.

Eric Breslin (Y7) has been chosen to represent his club in a Men’s Artistic Gymnastics Competition in Prague on Sunday 14 October. Earlier this month, Eric won gold in the Southern Region Qualifiers and will now go on to represent the South of England at the Nationals later in the year.

Alex Lamb (Y7) recently performed very well in a European badminton competition in Sweden. With all 11 countries taking part playing their national squads and about half the players playing in their final year at U13, the competition, which included knockout singles, doubles and mixed doubles, was strong.

After all that sport, we hope the boys enjoy a well-earned rest over the exeat weekend!
