“All the world’s a stage”. These words certainly rang true today for our Prep boys competing in the school’s Shakespeare Slam finals for the chance to represent the school at the national ISO Shakespeare Monologue Competition.

Following on from class competitions earlier in the week, the chosen finalists from each class took to the stage to perform their selected Shakespeare monologue in the finals – which excitingly took place in three locations around the school simultaneously!

The boys were resoundingly brilliant, clearly putting all they learned from the inspiring workshops at the start of term (read more here) to good use—not to mention a great deal of hard work and practice!

We are delighted to announce the winners, as follows:

Key Stage 2

  • Major Grewal (Y4)
  • Cayo Sinclair (Y6)

Key Stage 3

  • Nathaniel Fletcher (Y7)
  • Aryan Sohanpal (Y8)

Harry Hodgson (Y7) and George Simmonds (Y8) were also highly commended for their performances.
