On Thursday 9 March a number of senior boys from the Chapel Choir sang a special service of Compline in Chapel.

This ancient and beautiful rite, the final office of the day for medieval monks in centuries gone by, consists entirely of unaccompanied plainsong.  It was a very evocative experience for all; singing in the deserted candlelit chapel.  We then departed from the monks’ routine by going for a curry together in town!
