A sun-drenched Bedford International Athletics Stadium played host to the District Athletics Competition earlier this week providing our athletics boys with their first major event of the summer. Hungry for competition, they enjoyed a very successful afternoon and promising start to the athletics season.
Our intermediate boys won their events by some margin with most boys gaining a top three finish. It was certainly fitting for them to then complete the day by winning the 4x100m race, and in some style too.
The top two finishers in each event will now represent the Mid-Beds District team in the County Finals in a few weeks’ time and, with these results, Bedford School will be well-represented.
