In preparation for the festive season, a number of Upper School parents attended a superb wreath making evening at Howbury Farm Flowers which was organised by the Parents’ Guild.

In beautiful surroundings, hosts Lucy Copeman and Jane Leech, started by showing attendees how to attach moss to the rings then gave step by step instruction on attaching the greenery, adding the lights and completing the decorations.  To finish of their creations, attendees were then shown how to make a bow and attach it to their wreaths.

Once everyone had completed their wreaths, they adjourned to the sitting room where Champagne and canapes were served in front of a roaring log fire. The conversation flowed until late in the evening, with everyone saying how festive the event had made them feel.   To round off the event, everyone gathered on the stairwell to show of their beautiful wreaths for a group photo.

It was a hugely successful evening,  and all the attendees were delighted with their finished creations.  Many thanks go to Lucy and Jane of Howbury Farm Flowers for their patience and hospitality.
