The generosity of our Prep boys is always wonderful to see and today was no exception as they swapped their uniforms for more casual attire in aid of their chosen charities, which this year are:

Bunyan House – Road Victims Trust

The Road Victims Trust offers emotional and practical support to anyone who lives in Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire who is affected by a serious road collision.

Harpur House – Men in Sheds Bedford

The Charity aims to keep men active and healthy by getting them out of the house and meeting people, making friends, and doing stuff.

Howard House – The Tavistock Trust for Aphasia

The trust aims to help improve the quality of life for those with aphasia (the inability to access language), their families and carers.

Whitbread House – Bedfordshire Open Door

Bedfordshire Open Door is a friendly and welcoming counselling service for young people.

Non-uniform days, such as today’s, together with fun House activities throughout the year, help raise much-needed funds for local charities.

We were delighted to welcome representatives from several of last year’s chosen charities to the school just last term. Their visits are always an excellent opportunity for all boys in all Houses to learn more about the incredible work they do and present them with the cheques for the funds raised by the boys.
