On the 8th of February, a group of Durham and Newcastle Old Bedfordians met at the infamous Durham watering hole ‘The Swan and Three Cygnets’. The evening saw OBs from many different year groups (leavers from 2018-2022) chatting and reminiscing about good times at Bedford and the North East over a few Taddy Lagers. The absence of university teaching the next day due to the strikes saw the night continue in Jimmy Allen’s nightclub. Thank you to the OB club for helping us run the event, the Newcastle boys for making the train journey over and Rahul Sheemar for initiating the tradition last year, I hope it continues!
