We are delighted to announce that Ollie Jackson (Y7) is heading to the In2Hockey National Finals with his Cambridge City U12 team in May. Ollie’s team were crowned champions for the East in the competition’s regional finals earlier this month, which secured them their place in the national finals.

At Bedford Prep, Ollie is a key member of the 1st VII hockey team and part of the squad that won a brilliant bronze at this year’s IAPS National Finals.

Headmaster, Ian Silk, was delighted to comment, “My congratulations go to Ollie, who impressively plays up a year in our 1st VII team. It is wonderful to see Ollie, like so many boys, enjoying sporting success both in school and outside, and combining the skills learned in school and through external clubs to make a positive difference to his performance, in this case, on the hockey pitch.”

Director of Hockey, Sam Mee, added, “It is great to see Ollie able to showcase his skills at the national finals with Cambridge. He has worked hard to improve all attributes of his game this year and I am sure Ollie will be able to use this experience to help the school 1st VII yet again next year.”
