Our Strings Music Fellow this year, Marcin Markowicz, will be performing at a lunchtime concert in the Recital Hall on Wednesday 28 February at 1.00pm.
Marcin is an internationally acclaimed solo and chamber violinist and composer. He is also concertmaster of the Polish Radio Orchestra in Warsaw, a member of the Lutosławski Quartet and the artistic director of the Ensemble Festival. He currently teaches at the Chopin University of Music in Warsaw.
The concert is free of charge, and all are welcome to attend.
