The Prep School’s very own Mr Jonathan Lee will join with 50,000 intrepid runners taking on the London Marathon this Sunday, 2 October 2022. Mr Lee is running in the iconic race in memory of his grandfather, whom he lost to Motor Neurone Disease, and all those affected by this truly heart-breaking disease. Mr Lee hopes his marathon efforts will raise valuable funds and awareness for the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association: a charity focused on improving access to care, research and campaigning for people affected by the disease. Thanks to the support of friends, family and the fantastic school community, he is well on his way, having raised over £4,400 to date.

Mr Lee hopes to complete what will be his very first marathon in three and a half to four hours. Still, as he explained, “the most important thing is to finish and raise funds for the Motor Neurone Disease Association who work so hard to fight this devastating disease”.

If you would like to show your support for Mr Lee and support the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association, please visit his JustGiving page here

We wish him all the best and will be looking out for him in the coverage of this most wonderful race that raises so much for so many charities.
