Our Y3 and Y4 boys have been busy honing their creative skills in DT this spring.

Our Y3 boys created their own little slice of the famous Harry Potter sweet shop ‘Honeydukes’. During their graphics project, the boys dreamt up, designed and sculpted in air-dried clay a whole array of magical confectionery to tempt any young wizard. The boys also put their creative skills to good use, designing colourful themed party bags to hold the sweets and name tags.

For our Y4 boys, DT lessons involved a journey into the fantastical world of Jon Burgerman, a British-born contemporary artist and graphic designer famous for his use of bright colours and ‘doodle art genius’. Over the term, the boys designed and created their own clothing brands inspired by his unique and colourful style.
