The voices of Fifth Former Koya Okusaga and Lower Sixth Former Angus Timmins will reach new heights as they join Upper Sixth Former Toby L’Estrange to train with the National Youth Choir of Great Britain.

The boys went through a rigorous audition against tough competition from some of the country’s top choristers before being invited to join.

As members of this prestigious choir, the boys will receive first class choral training and opportunities to develop skills in music, performance, recording, leadership and teamwork, as well as grow in confidence and aspiration. They will sing alongside some of the most gifted young voices in the UK, honing their singing expertise.

Music Teacher and School Choir Master, Keith Roberts, said, “I am delighted and proud that Koya and Angus have been selected to join Toby in the National Youth Choir (15-18 years). This will be an amazing opportunity for them with residential courses and prestigious concerts in which to sing. It is a fantastic achievement for them both.”
