On Friday 26th February, Old Boy and professional actor Jonno Davies (01-10) came back to school to judge the first ever Prep School House Drama Competition.
Before the event, he answered questions from Year 7 & 8 pupils about his acting career and gave fantastic advice to our budding young actors about performing and life in general! See Jonno in conversation with Head Boy Harry Constantine in the picture to the right.
80 boys from Years 5 – 8 performed in eight different stories in front of packed audiences. Awards were given for Best Actor as well as an overall award for each age group winner.
Commenting on the event, Jonno said: “House Drama in the Prep School is a fantastic initiative; it is genuinely exciting to see boys taking ownership of their Drama and having fun devising and performing work for an audience. It was a privilege to be invited back to school where I have so many fond memories.”
