We are delighted to announce that Eric Breslin (Y7) was named the winner of this year’s Independent Schools Religious Studies Association (ISRSA) junior essay competition, winning £50 worth of book vouchers.
Eric discussed the topic ‘There are more similarities than differences between the Abrahamic faiths’ in his 500-word essay and was judged highly on the calibre of his intellectual argument and imagination.
Miss Williams, Head of RE in the Prep School, said, “I have been overwhelmed with Eric’s passion for the subject and the exceptional standard of his work. We are absolutely delighted that he is the winner of this year’s competition and look forward to seeing what next year will bring!”
The award was the second in as many weeks for Eric, who also received a Headmaster’s commendation for his recent, excellent RE artwork.
