A fantastic achievement by Archie Young-Lee (Lower Sixth) for organising and playing in a charity concert, ‘An Introduction to Solo Trombone Playing’ last week. Archie played a varied programme, including pieces by Haydn and Sulek, accompanied by Mr Thompson. And the audience was treated to a surprise encore duet with Andrew Groom!
Archie had the pleasure of presenting a cheque for £220 to Joanna Dickson from his chosen charity JDRF, which does important research into Type 1 diabetes. Thank you to everyone who supported the evening.
