Boys in Y3 and Y4 enjoyed a visit from the award-winning poet, Joshua Seigal, on Wednesday 20 January 2013.

All boys listened to a performance from Joshua in the morning before returning for a poetry writing workshop later in the day. The boys had a great time describing how something feels, tastes, smells, sounds and looks before writing love or hate poems to their most or least favourite food. Pizza and brussels sprouts were popular subjects!

Several boys were chosen to perform their poem and had to choose a friend to act as the food.  We loved the imagination of both the poems and the food performances!
