After two weeks of postponement due to rain, it was finally time for the Howard House Olympics to commence – and they proved great fun and wonderfully wet despite the glorious sunshine!

The fun games, which took place on Friday 26 May, included a balloon waddle, a blindfolded water pass, a balloon squeeze waddle and a remove-a-sock bucket balance. Competing in House teams of eight, the boys had a tremendous amount of fun as they waddled, balanced, popped and slopped their way through the fun challenges, all in aid of Together for Mental Wellbeing. The charity provides flexible mental health support to suit individuals’ needs and helps people on their journey towards better mental well-being and independent lives.

Howard Housemaster Miss Oakley told us, “The boys and their supporters were just brilliant – never has an Olympics been so wet and wild! A huge thank-you to everyone who supported the event and their generosity for this fabulous and very worthy charity.”

You can also make a donation to recognise the boys’ efforts on their Just Giving page.
