Thursday 20 June was Whitbread House’s turn to raise funds for their chosen charity in this year’s house challenge, and they decided on Zumba!

The area in front of the climbing wall was transformed into an outdoor fitness studio and onlookers, including visitors to the school, were treated to an energetic and, mostly, coordinated display of dancing. Decked out proudly in their house colours, the boys and staff – in fetching green tutus and deely boppers – proudly strutted their funky stuff to the dance tunes blasting out of the speakers. We were highly impressed with their commitment, enthusiasm and effort!

The energetic activity helped to raise funds for the boys’ chosen charity: The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Next week, we are looking forward to supporting Harpur’s ‘Sporting Charity Challenge’ and Bunyan’s ‘Climb Ben Nevis Challenge’.
