On the 30th September we welcomed current parents, past parents, OBs, staff, former staff and Friends of the School for a Harvest Supper for those involved in farming, food production and land management. It was lovely to have such a great mix and for many old friends to informally catch up with one another.

In his speech the Head Master, James Hodgson, welcomed everybody and made some interesting comparisons between running a farm and running a School. There are more similarities than one would think! This was followed by David Murray (69-76), President of the Old Bedfordians Club who kept everybody amused with some great Shakespearean renditions. It was good to see that he had obviously paid attention during his English Lessons whilst at the School. Although he was under a bit of pressure as he was sitting next to Simon Briggs (97-82), Chairman of the BSA, whose father, Pat, had taught David whilst at School!

In 2017 we are planning to host a Harvest Ball in the Great Hall on Saturday 30th September. Please look out for more details.
