The entire School community were very saddened to hear about the death of Guy earlier in the term. He made a huge impact in many areas of School life. As a tribute to Guy, the School, working closely with his family, are planning a special evening on Saturday 4th February 2017. It is likely to take the format of a Band Concert conducted by Malcolm Green involving current boys, staff and hopefully a number of OBs that Guy taught over the years.
If you would like to play we would love to hear from you. Please could you let the Director of Music, Joss Sanders, know on jsanders@bedfordschool.org.uk The aim would be to have a rehearsal at 6pm and the concert at 7.30pm. We would of course also build in time for you to catch up with one another and time for everybody to celebrate Guy’s life.
If you cannot commit to playing then you and your families will be most welcome to attend the concert in the audience and join us for refreshments. An email will be sent out in the future with all the details of the event and how to register, so we can plan appropriately knowing the numbers.
