Our Year 4 boys took their audiences on an exciting adventure as a mouse took a stroll through the deep dark wood to come face-to-face with an owl, a snake … and a hungry Gruffalo! However, this was by far no ordinary drama production of the classic and much-loved tale by Julia Donaldson, as it was all in French!

The boys, who have been learning French since Year 3, have been working extra hard and practising with Mme Loader to perform their lines with confidence, flair and va-va-voom! The brilliant puppets created by Mrs Aldridge helped the boys bring their characters to life.
The boys delighted audiences in their two shows. First up was Pilgrims Pre-Prep School in the afternoon, followed by the boys’ parents after school. They received rapturous applause for their brilliant performances on both occasions.
