The sun was shining at this year’s Commemoration of our Founders and Benefactors which took place on Sunday 8th October. This is an important date in the calendar when the School community comes together to celebrate its heritage and thank benefactors for all the support they have given the School.
Boys, staff, Old Bedfordians and guests all enjoyed a superb performance by the Chapel Choir. The sermon was given by Major General Tim Cross CBE, one of the UK’s former leading military figures who was awarded the CBE for his humanitarian work with NATO in Kosovo, Albania and Macedonia.
Following the Chapel service, guests enjoyed a lunch in the Great Hall; it is always a delight to see everybody come together with a large variety of connections to the School stretching over many years.
