Recent leaver Josh Taylor (05-16), pictured sixth from right, was selected to represent England Schools in the annual match against Wales at Clyne near Swansea, on August 28th and 29th.
Josh played with Ryan Smith, another Bedfordshire Schools selection, in the morning foursomes and both boys went on to win their afternoon singles matches on the 18th green in a closely fought match overall. Their victories ensured that England maintained their dominance over the Welsh this year, winning 11½ – 6½.
