A superb weekend of table tennis from our U11 and U13 teams saw them both win their regional area finals to secure their places in the national semi-finals.
On Saturday, the U11s won all their matches to finish first in their regional area final at Leicester Grammar School.
vs St Peter’s C of E Academy – won 5-3
vs Habs Boys Prep School – won 6-2
vs Avenue Primary School – won 8-0
vs Alleyn Court – won 6-2
The U13s, not to be outdone, also won their regional area final without loss.
vs The Kings School – won 8-0
vs The Market Bosworth School – won 5-3
vs King Edward VI Grammar – won 5-3
vs Toot Hill School – drew 4-4
Both teams now look forward to their national semi-finals in March.
