The end of the autumn term (probably our favourite one) is always filled with Christmassy treats to get everyone in a festive mood.

Last week, the Christmas festivities kicked off with a pantomime for Y3 and Y4 pupils from Bedford Prep and Bedford Girls’ School, who enjoyed ‘A Riskmas Carol’. During the laugh-out-loud show in the Erskine May Hall, the pupils became the Christmas Crackers to help to save Scrooge and the school pantomime.

Since then, the festive fun has continued with a wonderful Christmas lunch in the Dining Hall – always a colourful, joyful occasion complete with Christmas jumpers, hats, crackers and festive food with all the trimmings, ‘Carolling at the Kiosk’ for our Y3 and Y4 Choir, fun assemblies and carol services over three evenings in the Chapel.

We are also proud to say that Christmas is a time when boys think of others in the wider Bedford community. This year, thanks to the boys, their families and our staff, we created 30 family food boxes to deliver to the All Nations Church ‘Christmas in a Box’ appeal. You can read more here.
