As a result of Bunyan House’s brilliant fundraising, we were delighted to welcome representatives from Autism Bedfordshire to the Prep School on Wednesday 4 September.

Sarah Grimes and Gill Christmas from the local charity joined boys in a special assembly to receive a cheque for £2411.88. This incredible sum was achieved by the incredible efforts of Bunyan boys and staff who swam to France and back ( .  .  . well, in distance anyway) in their lunch break back in June.  It was a highly memorable event and a great house effort from all the boys; even those who were unable to swim helped by counting lengths!

Gill also spoke to the boys about living with autism and how they can help people with the condition in everyday life. It was an eye-opening talk that encouraged the boys to consider how others may see and interpret the world around them.
