Over 20 Computer Science boys from across all age groups put their grey matter to the test when they took part in the Reply Challenge coding competition on Thursday 12 March.

The boys, who all attend the school’s Programming Club every week, were able to demonstrate their superb coding skills on an international playing field as they competed against other coders from approximately 400 schools from all around the world.

The boys were required to solve algorithm challenges, and write algorithms and code to solve logical mathematical problems in the three hours they had. For some of the Remove Form boys, this was after having already taken part in a Maths Olympiad earlier in the day! The challenges were worded in a way that the boys had not seen before in other coding competitions, therefore the competition proved to be an unexpected challenge for all.

We await to hear the final scores, but an entertaining evening was had by all!
