On Friday 8th September 2017 Mrs Pauline Fletcher celebrated her 92nd birthday. Many OBs will have very fond memories of Pauline as she played a special role at Bedford School, particularly in Redburn, married to Murray Fletcher (34-42, Staff 50-83) and as mother to David (58-69), Guy (59-70) and Mark (65-76). Flowers were sent on behalf of the Old Bedfordians Club and the School, and we hear that Pauline had an enjoyable day.
Pauline nursed at Kempston Barracks in the Second World War and first met Murray when he was a dashing cadet in Bedford School…..it is clear that Pauline still has an eye for a man in uniform”!
