Our Prep boys have been out and about this week to do their bit for this year’s RSPB’s Big Garden Bird Watch.

Armed with binoculars and clipboards, the boys were on a mission to spot, identify and record the many varied birds that visit the gardens and green spaces around the school estate.

During their big bird watch, the boys were kept busy recording the myriad of wrens, crows, blue tits, woodpigeons, magpies and house sparrows who appeared.

Together with the results collected by the one million individuals who take part each year, the boys’ data will help the RSPB understand which birds are visiting UK skies and which are disappearing and why.
