The U13 Badminton team enjoyed a successful morning at the Bedfordshire County Finals on Friday 10 February 2017; playing a total of 25 matches and winning 23 on their way to winning the competition.
5-0 wins against Leighton, Alameda, Putteridge and Icknield earned the boys their place in the final, which proved a tense match against the also unbeaten Goldington Academy. However, after some super play from both teams, Bedford won 3-2 in matches to claim the U13 Badminton County Champions title.
Congratulations to the team of Josh Stewart, Max Pearson, Vedant Somal and Krish Nair. The Prep School team will now play the Upper Schools U14’s, who were also victorious in the U14 competition at the County Championships, for a place in the Regional Finals to be held later this term.
