Eight OBs returned to the Prep School on Saturday at the invitation of Assistant Head and Science teacher, Mike Mallalieu. It was 21 years since the OBs had sat in Mike’s (Sir’s) Y5 Science lesson and they were delighted to slip into the back of the class to watch the final few minutes of a Y8 lesson.
Oh, those memories…of vacuum experiments and making CuSO4 blue crystals!….and there, on the windowsill, was the current Y5’s crop of crystals.
It was the first time some of the OBs had returned to the School since they left in 2008. The OBs then had a tour of the Prep and Upper School before having lunch in the Dining Halls and watching the Colt’s game in the afternoon.
