The run-up to Christmas is always the most wonderful time of the year at Bedford Prep, and our Autumn Concert is always the most wonderful affair – and this year was no exception.

From Silent Night on the steel pans to African Noel on strings to We Three Kings on guitar to Christmas Cacophony by the Y3-Y4 Choir, there was plenty of suitably Christmassy music to enjoy. However, this was far from all – the Prep Jazz Band impressed with their take of On Broadway, while the Prep School Orchestra wrapped up the concert with style with their uplifting performance of extracts from Rocket Man and the Abba classic: Dancing Queen

“The Autumn Concert was, as ever, a joyful and wonderful evening of entertainment, with a rich and varied programme showcasing the hard work, enormous fun and no small talent of our boys. All were brilliant, as were their music teachers who accompanied them (with seemingly effortless brilliance) on an impressive range of instruments. Well done to all!”

Ian Silk, Headmaster
