Our Y8 boys, who are studying the topic of food, shopping and traditional French dishes in their French lessons, put their language skills and knowledge into practice with a French cookery session led by Chef Adam in the Dining Hall last week.

The boys first made a delicious Quiche Lorraine and then some crêpes for dessert – there were definitely some budding Raymond Blancs amongst the group!

We were delighted, too, that some of our A-Level and IB boys who study French came along to help the boys and chat about languages in the Upper School. Their enthusiasm and knowledge were infectious and a real inspiration to the Y8 boys.
