Bedford School’s Chapel Choir proudly sang as the sole robed choir at the Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall on Saturday 7th November.

The Chapel Choir, who were asked to perform after impressing the Musical Director and BBC Producer, sang in front of Her Majesty the Queen, members of the Royal Family, The Prime Minister and leaders of the opposition together with senior members of the military, not to mention the sell-out audience of 5,000 and worldwide TV audience of 8 million.

The Chapel Choir joined an impressive line-up, which included Andrea Bocelli, Rod Stewart, Gregory Porter and Pixie Lott performing with the RAF Band, The Queen’s Colour Squadron, The Band of HM Royal Marines and the Band and Pipes of the Brigade of Gurkhas during the moving evening to commemorate and honour all those who have lost their lives in conflicts.
