Congratulations to Connor Sheridan who won a superb bronze medal at the Coupe de la Jeunesse 2017 in Hazewinkel, Belgium at the end of July.
Connor and his partner Milford Killian-Dawson led from start to finish in the Junior Men’s Pair to win their heat in 07.30.29 and secure their place in the final.
In the thrilling final, Connor and Milford fought hard, and indeed held second place for the first three-quarters of the race, but were just pipped to the post for silver by the French crew.
The pair’s excellent result helped the U18 Great Britain team to top the table by 59 points in the two-day competition, which saw 12 European countries come together to compete.
