Our Y4 boys took a walk on the wild side when they headed to the largest zoo in the county on Wednesday 8 May.
Their destination: Whipsnade Zoo.
Their mission: to study mammals and other animals up close.
Throughout their day at Whipsnade Zoo, the intrepid boys delved deeper into their studies of rainforests and the many species that live within them. The boys also looked at endangered species to help inform their persuasive writing and debating on whether zoos are good or bad.
The boys also enjoyed up-close encounters with plenty of animals, from playful otters to majestic giraffes, from speedy ostriches to the always-entertaining penguins.
The boys, as always, exhibited excellent behaviour and returned to school with a wealth of newfound knowledge to use in their upcoming lessons.
Mission accomplished!
