We are delighted to announce our first art exhibition of the new academic year: Yukon River & Other Journeys by Governor and former Director of Art, Rob Campbell.
“For many years I have been drawn to rivers, lakes and lochs – for sport, relaxation and inspiration. I have been lucky enough to visit the Yukon and to explore the Yukon River between Whitehorse and Dawson City, firstly as part of the Yukon River Quest covering the 454 miles in about 59 hours and later taking 2 weeks to explore the river and its environs in a more reflective and leisurely way, taking in the amazing scenery and wildlife. Much of the work in this exhibition is inspired by these journeys as well as my continuing love for Scotland.”
